Michael holds Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status and is a financial member of Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA). He is now practising in Hong Kong. He is also a foodie himself, so he is enthusiastic in sharing with people about how to enjoy food and drink, while being mindful with healthy and balanced eating. Michael loves listening to every unique story from his clients, then following evidence-based practice to provide professional advices on eating pattern and food choice, encouraging minor changes to clients’ current lifestyle, with achievable goals and targets.
Michael had clinical experience at Monash health hospital and rehabilitation centre, utilising medical nutrition, helping patients to deal with malnutrition, prevent further weight loss in hospital, and smooth transition back to healthy and balanced diet after discharge. He also had volunteered for a NGO’s community nutrition services centre, as well as a private hospital in Hong Kong, providing nutrition education and quality improvement targeting community.
